Gering High School is seeking qualified applicants for the 2026/27 school year who are passionate about teaching instrumental music and developing a strong band program. Responsibilities may include directing band concerts, pep band, and other instrumental ensembles, as well as fostering student growth in musicianship, performance, and music literacy. This position may include specific ensemble responsibilities but is also open to individual professional strengths.

Extra duty coaching / activity assignments may be available for those interested and qualified.  A competitive base salary, matching years of experience for incoming candidates, and a full benefits package including health, vision, dental, life, and long-term disability options are offered.
