Gering Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants eager to teach Industrial Arts for the 2026-27 school year.
The Industrial Arts Teacher provides engaging, hands-on instruction to middle school students in areas such as woodworking, metalworking, basic engineering, drafting, and technology. The teacher fosters creativity, problem-solving, and safe tool usage while helping students develop practical life skills and an understanding of modern industry and design processes.
The District uses the Danielson Instructional Framework, and is committed to the PLC process. Extra duty coaching / activity assignments may be available for those interested and qualified.
