Assistant coaches are responsible for supporting the head coach with program organization, conducting practices, motivating students, and instructing student-athletes in game strategies and techniques.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess general knowledge of the sport's rules and regulations, and be willing to promote an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, good sportsmanship, and the value of education.  Additionally, qualified candidates must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students. 

 

In-district and out-of-town travel is required as necessary for training and/or to carry out essential duties and responsibilities.
